Description

Unemployment insurance benefits are granted to insured persons are dismissed from work or from the office of the civil servant through no fault of the employee or the civil servant, due to circumstances beyond the employee’s or civil servant’s control or in the event of the employer’s bankruptcy and who are as well registered as unemployed at the local labour exchange and who have not been offered by a local labour exchange a job corresponding to their professional skills and state of health, or measures of active labour market policy. Law on unemployment social insurance also stipulates that in order to get unemployment insurance benefit such persons should also prior to registration at a local labour exchange be acquired the unemployment insurance record not shorter than 18 months during the last 36 months.
